    Heavenly Father, We recognize that You are the Giver of all good things. Thank You for the blessings that You have bestowed on the Longaberger Company over all these years. As we begin this new sales year, we unite in prayer and ask Your favor upon all of us. Bless the Sales Field, Leaders and Consultants that are dedicated to working their business. Help us to make decisions of integrity and build our business on ethical principles. Please give us insight and discernment on how to better ourselves and our company. We lift up Tami and the Executive Team as they make decisions that impact all of us. Bless them with wisdom, vision and passion as they look forward into our future. Watch over the Company Employees on all levels … guide and empower them. With grateful hearts for all You have done and will do through us, we ask this in Jesus name. Amen.

    Dear Heavely Father … I praise you and humbly come before you. How great are your works and your creation. I am not worthy of your love. Yet, your love is unmeasurable despite my shortcomings. Thank you for all you have done. But most importantly thank you for sending your precious son, Jesus, to die on the cross so that we might have everlasting life. I pray that if there be any person on my team or in this company who does personally know you Lord, that they might come to know Your infinite love and receive Your free gift of salvation. I pray that they might know the peace that passes all understanding that only You can provide. I thank you for the precious people I have met through my Longaberger business both within the company and without. I thank you for a loving company that allows me to put You first and foremost in my life and in my business. I commit my Longaberger business to you dear Lord. Often times I fail at that, but I pray I stay steadfast in keeping a focus on you. I know that when I stand before your throne one day it won’t matter how many baskets I have sold. What will matter is how many souls I have touched along the journey and how many have come to know you through me. For I know that if I focus on You, then You will take care of the small things. I pray not only for our company, but I pray for our nation. Your word tell us in 2 Chronicles 7,14-15: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” Our country has turned our back on You in so many ways. We have turned to abortions, idolatry, greed, alternate lifestyles, and many sinful ways disobeying Your commandments. Help us to love the sinner, but hate the sin and focus on what is pure and holy. Help our company, The Longaberger Company, be the one that is not ashamed to call you Lord and Savior and to stand firm on moral ground. For if we don’t stand for something we stand for nothing. I pray that "something" is You. Please be with each and every Consultant, Leader, Weaver and Home Office Employee. Bless them and give them wisdom, energy, creativity, and resourcefulness. I pray for Tami Longaberger. Place a special hedge of protection around her, her children, and the entire Longaberger family. Be with Tami daily as she makes tough decisions. Help her to lean on you for guidance and vision for your word says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.” (Proverbs 3:5-6). I lift up our new sales year dear Lord. May all that we do bring glory to Your Name. Help us to keep our hearts and eyes fixed on You. Father, help us to love one another. May Your love shine through our words and actions with each other and with our customers. Let your word penetrate our hearts and help us to seek Your perfect will for our personal lives and for our businesses. Bless our Company and all those who love this special place we call Longaberger. We ask these things in your most holy and precious name. Amen.

  25. Dear Heavenly Father~I am so thankful for this opportunity to praise YOU for all the blessings that you have given me since I have been a part of The Longaberger Company. I believe it is so fitting to begin this new fiscal year asking for Your guidance. Whether we face overflowing abundance or great need, it is so important that we stay focused on you, God. It is so amazing that we have technology that we can use in an effort to reach everyone in our company so we may ALL come together on one special day to bring honor to the very ONE who made us and put us in a place “for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14) Like Esther, I pray that I will seize the God-Given opportunities you have given me. Thank you, Lord, that You are in control…….may we all step up with courage to seek and follow your Guidance. I thank you for every person involved with The Longaberger Company and that each one of us will do our part as we begin this new year. I can’t imagine what our company would be like if we individually made our mission statement “To be a positive, Christ-like influence in every life we touch through Longaberger.” Thank you for loving us all and giving us your Son so that “whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”.     I give thanks for the opportunity to share my love of Longaberger to all I come in contact with and let them know that Tami is the real deal and sincerely cares about others. I know first handed because I have been a receiptent of her kindness and concern,
    There are so many things I am thankful for but I try and practice these three, of which Dr. Charles Stanley reminds us of. He says if God brings you to something He will bring you through it and secondly, Obey God and leave all of the consequences to Him and tell folks to remember their Mountaintop experiences because we will be in the Valley again.Then I ask through which experiences have I grown the most in my faith?? Of course the answer for me is in the Valley, and I don't especially enjoy it but He is the Potter and I am His clay to mold and shape.
    I always say at my Home Shows and newsletters that if Dave Longaberger had been living during Jesus time, he might have woven the basket for the young man to carry his fishes and loaves in and as today more baskets were needed to pick up the scraps of food left. So let's think of all of these beautiful baskets keeping the above thought in mind.
    I pray for each area of the Longaberger Company from Tami and Rachel,Micheal Kennedy, all of the designers and basket weavers at the Big Basket and of course for our NSL Leaders and my wonderful Branch Leader, Kim and for the members of our Branch.
    We just have to have the faith of a small mustard seed and we will accomplish whatever the Lord has in store if we just believe and step out in faith.
    May God suit a blessing for each of you and may God continue to bless this great country we live in.

  39. Father God, You have been so faithful to the promise You quickened to my spirit July 8, 1996: "Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store." Deuteronomy 28:5

    As this 2009-2010 sales year begins, I just want to say thank you once again for your outpouring of blessings on The Longaberger Company and my team in particular.

    I thank you for Tami Longaberger who has taken her place at the helm of this organization. I ask that you grant her godly wisdom as she continues to lead from her heart.

    I pray for all my fellow consultants, home office personnel, the weavers and everyone working to make this the great company that it is. Continue, Lord, to show us Your favor in the marketplace and in the direct selling industry.

    Grant my American Eagle National Sales Team the ability to live out daily our mission statement: "Building Integrity Based Businesses for a Brighter Tomorrow."

    Father God: I am overwhelmed by the wonderful messages and prayers that have already been lifted up to you and this day is only an hour old! We know there is GREAT power in prayer as you have told us where 2 or 3 are gathered in your name, you will also be there. I join these dear friends in praising and thanking you first for the many blessings you have bestowed upon all of us through the years. We've laughed together, we've cried together, we've taken steps forward and some steps back, but knowing that YOU are leading this journey gives us courage and faith. You have personally blessed my life in so many ways; for me, the greatest treasure is in the relationships and friendships that have literally changed my life.

    Psalm 139 says "You have searched me out and known me, you know my sitting down and my rising up, you discern my thoughts from afar....You trace my journeys and are acquainted with all my ways.....You press upon me behind and before and lay your hand upon me.Such knowledge is too wonderful for me........

    Your Grace and Love that has been bestowed upon each of us is a reminder of your Great Commandment to love you with all our hearts and our neighbors as ourselves. I believe that Love is what binds all of these relationships together and I am so thankful to be part of a company and a profession that gives me the opportunity to daily show love for others.

    Continue to bless the Longaberger family. May Tami learn just how much we all treasure a relationship with her. May she turn to you for guidance and reassurance as she continues to assume the responsibility of leading the company. Bless those in the Big Basket who help counsel her. May they seek your wisdom in leading and in decision making.

    Bless our basketmakers. May they know that their baskets are much more than products for us to sell but are real connections between them and those who cherish the baskets that they own. Thank you for guiding their hands and hearts.

    Give those of us who are leaders in the sales field wisdom and understanding as we reach out to inspire our team members. Make us better listeners. Help us to lift up others and their accomplishments . May all that we do be first to glorify You.

    Give us courage and determination to persevere in tough times.We know that these ARE tough times in our country---You understand tough times and have always provided for our real needs ESPECIALLY when times are tough. You can see behind us and in front of us---Teach us how to trust you and look for your direction in our businesses.

    And when we begin to doubt ourselves, remind us that we "can do all things through Christ who gives (us) strength" Phillipians 4:13

    Here we are at the threshold of a new sales year and we humbly come before you to seek your blessing on our company today and throughout the next year. We ask that you prepare the way before us and lead us. As we read in Psa. 119, help us to live according to your word and do not let us stray from your commands.

    As we do our part to seek after you, I ask that you pour out your blessing on our extended Longaberger family. Give us wisdom, vision and passion to become better than what we are today. Thank you that you are at work among us in ways we can’t even see. Help us to put our faith and trust in you, for you alone are our hope and our salvation.

    Psa. 121 – I lift up my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.     I am reminded of the scripture in Isaiah 40:31
    "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles,
    they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint". God's power and strength never fail. Hoping in the Lord is expecting that his promise of strength will help us to rise above life's disgtractions and difficulties. Thank you for the blessings you give us daily.     Thank you Father God, for the richness of Your blessings. Thank You for opening the Longaberger opportunity to me so many years ago, and for all the ways You have used this association to shape me and grow me for such a time as this. The prayers of these women have often been my encouragement, and the examples they set have helped me to become what you would have me to be. I am overcome with gratitude for the way a simple basket can impact so many. Thank You for the blessing of loving what I do. Help me to remember that it is your hand that guides me, and it is You I should never loose focus of. As we begin a brand new year within our company, I am humbled to join with so many others to focus on glorifying You in all we do. I pray for Your hand upon our company. I pray for Tami that you will bless her with a renewed strength, and vision. That she too will find joy in each day, and that the responsibility that she carries for each of us will be lightened as she rests in You. Thank You father for giving us a leader with a strong heart and passion to help us all succeed. For all those that work tirelessly in the big basket, may you also go before them, and make all of their work move easily with your blessings. Thank You for these workers that serve this company with love and passion in all that they do. I thank You Father for our weavers, and all manufacturing and shipping employees. I ask that each individual will feel Your peace as they come to work each day, and their work will be blessed as only you can bless it. And as we complete our circle within our company Lord, I pray that each home consultant, team leader, branch leader and national sales leader will be stirred with excitement for what is possible. That we will seek new ways to share our business, and that by seeking You first, our efforts will be blessed. Help us never to loose sight of Your hand in our blessings and challenges. Thank You for trusting us with all of these, so that we may learn to rely on You each day. And Father God, I pray that my own life will bring honor and glory to you, as I learn each day to trust you more fully. Lead me in your ways.

    7 Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams,

    Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression,
    the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

    8 He has showed you, O man, what is good.
    And what does the LORD require of you?
    To act justly and to love mercy
    and to walk humbly with your God.

    Lord, my prayer for my business is that I would always "act justly" toward my customers and potential customers, to "love mercy" and always go the extra mile in service, but most of all to "walk humbly with my God". I pray that the decision makers at Longabeger would also be guided by these principals, and that You would bless them, and the Longaberger Company, and all those who are associated with them. Teach us to walk with integrity in all that we do, and that Your Name would be praised.

  55. Father, how awesome it is to be able to know You personally and to learn from Your Word what it means to love and to walk in a way that is pleasing to You. What an encouragement to each of us in the Longaberger Company to believe that You are the blessed Controller of all things and that we can trust You, no matter the circumstances.
    What a privilege to start a new sales year at Your feet, with great anticipation for what You have in store for each of us in the coming year. Thank you, Father, that we can seek You and find You and with boldness come before Your throne with whatever is on our heart and mind. What a mighty God you are.
    I am reminded that Your Word says in Isaiah 43:18 and 19 says "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland." Father, that verse can be for us as we begin this new year. Please help us to look forward and move on into the new things that You have for us this year.
    Would You direct Tami's heart and mind and steps as she so diligently leads us and cares for each one of us in every area of the company? Give her supernatural wisdom from You so she can discern what decisions and actions need to be taken for the company. I pray that she will seek You with all of her heart and mind and soul. Direct every person in the corporate office, the basket makers, every NSL, every branch leader and every home consultant as they determine what is best to do in their position and with their area of influence and customers. Please provide fresh new ideas for all of us as we stand strong in this new year.
    Thank You for providing as You have in the past and we are asking that You would grow us stronger and bigger than we could even think or imagine.

  64. As your goal was to overwhelm the Home Office with an outpouring of love, I want you to know that you have done just that. On behalf of our Basketmakers,support staff and especially from me, my words cannot express what your prayers have meant to all of us...Thank you.

    I sincerely want you to know that as I read over the many prayers posted, I was truly moved by the love I felt from all who participated.
